Will Lady GaGa’s Fame Monster be smash hit again?

Blood concept from Lady GaGa from her upcoming  album scheduled to release in Nov 24 – The Fame Monster with 8 brand new tracks and repacked of the “Frame” album. A ballad titled “Speechless” inside the record is a song she dedicated to her father.

You may familiar with the blood concept from her VMA “paparrazi” live performance – a superb live performance: the dress, the gimmick, the music arrangement, the choreography etc. (scroll to the bottom for the unofficial video but with the best view for the choreography)

P.S. Do you notice, so you think you can dance “Mark”(bleeding love routine) is one of the lead dancers in the live?

Lady GaGa reveals “On my re-release The Fame Monster, I wrote about everything I didn’t write on The Fame. While traveling the world for two years, I’ve encountered several monsters, each represented by a different song on the new record: my ‘Fear of Sex Monster,’ my ‘Fear of Alcohol Monster,’ my ‘Fear of Love Monster,’ my ‘Fear of Death Monster,’ my ‘Fear of Loneliness Monster,’ etc……..I spent a lot of nights in Eastern Europe, and this album is a pop experimentation with industrial / Goth beats, ‘90s dance melodies, an obsession with the lyrical genius of ‘80s melancholic pop, and the runway.”

據聞Miguel比較姣一點, 跟Bobby New Berry是同一系列的…姣到震Gay風。

而Lando則比較男性化陽剛一點。

台灣舞者阿倫拋盧頭灑熱血的在台舉辦Circle of Fire街舞比賽！

最近阿倫不少的動作都是跨國的比賽，加上最近的街舞狂潮hip hop storm影展，看到他的確有心。

自己認識阿倫多年，至今對於舞蹈的看法仍然沒有變質，仍然傻傻的熱愛著它，佩服、感動。在瘋腿的地下室介紹了一點。

再環觀一些由興趣變成生意的人，每年的指定動作都只是為了要抓學生、取名氣，真是…

Randy Jackson’s America Best Dance Crew (ABDC)

各位愛舞人士留意了。Randy Jackon’s America Best Dance Crew 第三個season 剛開始了！

今季最觸目的是Quest – 一支隊伍，有齊三位曾在 So you think you can dance 比賽的舞者 – Ryan(第一季)、Dominic、Hok!!!

筆者覺得第三季遠比第二季好看。看到第二季那兩組不爭氣的女子組，只想掟爛電腦…可幸的是，第三季兩隊 All girls crew 都好強！

最開心就是在MTV網站可以看齊三季的比賽！當然，在Youtube也散落不少片段，但MTV的Streaming尚算穩定。

Step Up 2 : The Streets

瘋腿剛看了《Step Up 2: The Streets》，別問我從那裡得來。

今次第二集差不多完全沒有芭蕾舞，而且好像一面倒的追捧街舞，對其他舞種如Jazz、Modern都沒有描述，甚至有點揶揄為「食古不化」。老實說筆者不能認同 — 其中有一幕舞蹈學校導師叫女主角Andy聽一首慢歌作’interpretation’, 本來聽慢歌作freestyling是每一位舞者都應該懂得做的事(還記得so you think you can dance嗎？給你一首慢歌，一個好的bboy也能演繹得令contemporary的Mia Michaels刮目相看)，但作為多年的街舞舞者Andy卻只能將自己的急速舞步硬生生放入歌裡，當然換來導師的一頓臭罵。戲中卻似乎將這情形歸因為正統舞者看不起街舞，這無論對hip hop或contemporary舞蹈和舞者都是十分不公平的處理，讓我有一點失望。

不過戲中又有不少好看火爆的舞蹈場面，包括開首在地鐵的那場「惡搞」，又找來MTV Best America Dance Crew舞蹈比賽的JabbaWockeeZ作客席演出。

幾場舞蹈設計雖然浮跨，但又十分富娛樂性(特別是最後一場「玩水」)，Entertaining是很重要的，尤其對這部賣流行舞蹈的電影而言。聽了Missy E 和Ludacris 幾首歌，戲中音樂亦似乎比上一集精彩。所以整體來說電影是不錯的。 劇情就不能太高要求，其實上半部的劇情發展還是可以接受的，但到最後埋尾又變成男女角色各自「歸位」成為情侶的呆板公式組合，沒辦法吧，這可以Disney的製作呢。-[瘋腿]

舞蹈比賽最新消息(更新)

瘋腿留意到最近將會由兩種完全不同的機構舉行有截然不同的舞蹈比賽，且看看你有沒有興趣參與。

(一).《跳格2008》JUMPING FRAMES 2008

這是以舞蹈錄像為主題的比賽，現公開徵集世界各地創意十足的舞蹈錄像作品，似乎很有趣的樣子，瘋腿正計劃與友人一起合作參加。

(二) Nike Women舉辦的舞蹈比賽

在舞蹈學校看到有關參賽章程，然而似乎Nike Women的網站仍未有更新相關資料。

留意這只是給女性參加的舞蹈比賽，分高級(舞蹈年資3年以上)及初級組 (舞蹈年資3年以下)，最吸引之處當然是獎金不少，高級組有三萬元現金連五萬元服裝贊助，初級組也有一萬元。

大家看看所選顏色– 又是那該死的深紫、粉紅 ，濃妝艷抹像「如花」一樣，再看封面那幾位”Dancer”的化妝和衣服配搭，對不起，實在叫瘋腿倒胃。

去年的“Rockstar”2006比賽和其有關網站娘炳味十足， 與相對的日本網站和美國網站大大比下去 — 人家有星級編舞師Jamie示範舞步，香港版就只有A君和一班蛋散…，完全彰顯本地品牌對於舞蹈風格缺乏敏感度。怪不得所有專門店賣的服飾都如此騎呢，與水貨店不能比。

Wade Robson – “Hi”

認識Wade Robson 是從So you think you can dance開始。 我覺得Wade是You can dance 第三季最佳的編舞者，他所編的Humming Bird至今仍然是我在全季中最愛的一隻舞，由他所編的舞中可以看到他的眼光比一般更遠大，有更高更大的vision…雖然他早已為不少commercial的MTV編舞，但是自己”親力親為”已經是四年前的事了，這也是我第一次看到他的舞蹈。

一個字– 「正」！舞者(不只是Wade)跳得好，而且(音樂盒、哈哈鏡)場景多姿多彩，目不暇給。還有那首鬼馬的音樂，是實驗樂隊Psapp (發音為’Sap’)的作品，他們擅長將玩具樂器混音變成Folk-electronic音樂，這首歌”HI”真的非常配合Wade的編舞。(有關Psapp的資料可參與wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psapp

只希望看Dance with the Stars的觀眾真的懂得欣賞吧。因為筆者聽到那些「假配音」的觀眾歡呼聲，還一度汗顏。可見對舞者、舞蹈的尊重，可不是每一個電視台製作都懂的。

以下是上述提過的So you think you can dance 的Humming Bird， 看看大家的處理手法有何不同，有沒有如卡拉OK機的「假掌聲」？

還有他在第二季所編的Ramalama Bang Bang – (可能是Tribute to ‘Thriller’，因為看到這些「鬼樣」不難令人想起它。又是舞蹈與音樂極之配合的作品)
